In of the engineering related books the “To Engineer is Human” the author Henry Petroski tells that all mechanical engineers must consider every failure as the basic block for creating the better design. He has given many such examples where the engineers failed to build the sky-walks, buildings, bridges.
The mechanical engineer must find the reason for his failure in construction of those structures. Most of the reasons would be like some factors which they consider in design part may be neglected in original construction. If he failed to analyze and evaluate , the tools they use must be controlled by the engineers, rather depending only on tools.
