MBA AND PGDM in Chennai

What do MBA and PGDM stand for? MBA (Master of Business Administration) is a level, while PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is a college degree system. As per the requirements of the UGC, Colleges/Institutes associated to a college can provide MBA levels. The autonomous/private Company Educational institutions which are not associated to any university can provide the Publish Graduate student Degree in Control (PGDM) applications.

In an MBA level, you will receive theoretical information of management ideas and methods. Theoretical information may be useful if you want to get into research. Also, the MBA program is not revised very persistently as the college providing MBA has no power to modify the program. This can be a major impediment in the management field because the actual business atmosphere is very powerful and full of surprising unexpected changes. Hence, the MBA level is more educational and theoretical in general.

The PGDM program, if done from an above regular business university, will routine you with effective training and will give your ideas into actual life business circumstances. It is more realistic in general. Since independent business schools have independence to modify program, the PGDM program will be organized in a way most appropriate to the actual business atmosphere.

However, actually the market treats MBA and PGDM graduate learners in an identical way. Even in the international job market, same treatment is given to MBA and PGDM graduate learners. Actually the market cares more with the experience of the learners rather than the level. Hence doing either MBA or PGDM will have the same effect on work. Your starting salary will rely more on the popularity and brand name of your college/business university and not on the level name. Hence you must properly select your college/business university if you want to engage in an MBA or PGDM.

Hence, if you wish to engage in PhD after MBA, you must ensure that you have either an MBA level or a PGDM from AICTE accepted organizations. If you wish to engage in your PhD overseas, it is always better to finish an MBA level from any well-known university or college.

Therefore, whether you do an MBA or a PGDM, you will qualify for the same benefits. Create sure you select your college/business university properly and you go through the syllabi of various organizations before you comprise your mind.
